Chief Brody paddles into the TUBBZ lineup in gloriously ridiculous fashion, transforming the exhausted shark-hunting hero of Jaws into a rubber duck… who is somehow still unmistakably Chief Brody. Tiny police uniform, cigarette hanging from the beak, and a look that says “we’re gonna need a bigger bathtub,” this thing absolutely rules.
Fans love Martin Brody because he’s such a grounded everyman hero. Unlike a lot of action protagonists, Brody feels like a regular guy forced into an absolutely horrifying situation… and somehow still finding the courage to face it head-on. Also, turning that guy into a duck is deeply funny.
The TUBBZ formula continues to be weirdly unstoppable too. Take an iconic character, preserve just enough recognizable details, add duck, and somehow the result becomes instantly collectible. The cigarette alone honestly pushes this one into all-timer territory.
